History: Md Moshiur Rahman Riaj is the founder of Educational Scientific & Social Youth Organization (ESSYO). He feels to do something for the welfare of human being and discuss with friends, seniors and juniors to found this Organization. After that, Riaj called A meeting with some youths of different Schools, Colleges and Universities who have a common passion and they also provided a good response. Finally on August 02, 2013 through another meeting Educational Scientific & Social Youth Organization (ESSYO) was founded with a slogan ” Helping people, Changing Lives”. A large number of the underprivileged & disable Persons lives in Bangladesh. Therefore it becomes the purpose of ESSYO to empower these vulnerable and disadvantaged women & children and disable Persons of the society for self-reliance through self-help.

The founder of ESSYO beloved the process of emancipation of poor rural women lives in increasing the level of awareness was regarding their rights as individuals in the society. As such since its inception, ESSYO emphasized education of the poor women, disable persons indigenous people. ESSYO emphasized improvement of the quality of life through productive and income generation activities. Its Primary focus is on empowering the vulnerable women, disable persons through self-help groups. Including indigenous peoples women and disable into groups and encouraging their participation are therefore considered crucial for ESSYO. It facilities quality training and human resource development as imparting skill awareness of their own rights and available opportunities.

Mission: To bring Changes that helps to eradicate poverty and nurtures socio-economic & sustainable development

Goal: To assist and empower the rural vulnerable Child, Youth & Women to develop skill and increase access to local resources, so that they maintain a high standard of living.

Objectives:

• To work for the betterment and development of children, youth and women to make sure their empowerment & active participation in decision making process
• To work for Youth Engagement, Leadership & Advocacy
• To work for the reforms in educational sector by providing latest tools and techniques to the teachers
• To work for protection of environment & Climate Justice through climate change, disaster management and agricultural reform activities
• To take part in the process of Sustainable Development by initiating human resource, management and technological development programs
• To work for the Human rights, Justice and awareness of deprived communities, so that everyone has access to basic rights at equitable basis.
• To reduce poverty through assisting for incasing family income generating activities and promotion of micro enterprise.
• To empower the vulnerable women of the society through assisting in building capacity for leadership.
• To create awareness about health, nutrition and sanitation.
• To establish sustainable Village Development Organization (VDO).
• To buildup awareness in Road safety and promote consumer rights & Food Safety.
